NGANJUK, JP Radar Nganjuk – The census officer of
the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Nganjuk Regency is getting calmer at
work. Because they have received protection while working from BPJS Employment
or BPJAMSOSTEK. The certainty of getting the protection was when one of the
census officers of the Nganjuk BPS Regency received the participant placards
symbolically, Friday (3/6). The placards were handed over at the Nganjuk BPS
office, Jalan Dermojoyo, Nganjuk. Head of the Kediri Branch of BPJS Employment,
Suharno Abidin, said the census officers were included in the non-wage
recipients (BPU) category. Because they are not permanent workers, they are
contracted with BPS. However, the task of the officers was very heavy. Census
must be done with accuracy. Risks at work also arise. "So we protected our
census officers," said Suharno.
